Prasadam - A Holy Gift of God
The word Prasad It is the sacred food that is distributed after an auspicious event or day after offering it to the Godsmeans something that gives you peace. While worshipping the Lord in the Hindu religion, devotees offer some food item to the Lord. The Puja It is a prayer ritual performed to make offerings, honoring, evoking or worshipping gods. The ceremony can also be performed to pay homage to the beloved ones who are deadis performed with flowers, basil leaves, bael leaves, and also with some sweets and after Puja, sweets are given as a pious Prasada from the Lord. In almost every puja like Kirtan, Havans, Aarti, It is a Hindu religious ritual of worship etc. devotees offer some sweets or rice, maybe fruits or dry fruits according to one's ability, these food items are offered to Lord and after Puja the food item became sacred as a holy Prasada and distributed among the family members. Everyone eats Prasada as a blessing from Lord. Devotees feel connected and blessed after having Prasada, as it gives peace to devotees. Devotees believe that Lord is pleased even with the small offering with devotion and love towards Lord. Any kind of expensive item like gold or diamond or money can't make Lord happy; it's only your devotion and love, which can make Lord content.  So, if someone is poor and can't make too much offering to Lord, it does not make him/her a bad person in the eyes of the Almighty. Instead, every individual is equal in the eyes of the God.

    The Lord says in Gita

"patram pushpam phalam toyam yo me bhaktya prayacchati tadaham bhaktyupa hritamasanumi prayatatmanah ".

According to this, Gita Lord (KrishnaKrishnaKrishna
It is described that there are three aspects of the Supreme that must...
) says,  whoever offers a leaf, a flower, fruit, or even the water with devotion,  that he shall accept,  offered as it is with a loving heart. It is said that the grace of the Lord descends through Prasada. It is believed when a rich man feeds the poor, serves the sick, arranging Bhandara for the poor,  giving water to the needy; all these activities make Lord happy, and this type of devotion is special for him. Every devotee as per their capabilities should contribute something to the poor. These activities are important, and it makes Lord happy. The ultimate aim of the devotee is to satisfy Lord with his/her good deeds and such things contribute to their devotion towards the ultimate power.
