Poleramma Jatra is celebrated with grandeur. Though Kalivelamma is the village goddess, PolerammaPolerammaPoleramma
Poleramma is a form of Shakti and one of the seven Dravidian sisters worshipped dedicatedly in South India. She also has a brother named Potu Raza. She is a guardian goddess who protects a village. 
Jatara which is the custom of Rajas became very famous. It's celebrated every year with pride of Venkatagiri citizens.  There is a famous Lord ShivaShivaShiva
Shiva is one of the Supreme Gods of Hindu Trinity that ...
temple Kolithota and village God for the people of Amuduru.  Also, a large number of people will turn up for this occasion from near villages and nearer cities like Nellore, Tirupati, Sri Kalahasti and Chennai as well.
 
It's believed that this festival has a long time ago during the time of Venkatagiri rajas in the mid-18th century local people thought that the goddess herself came and used to talk with the rajas during the time of the festival. It is usually celebrated every year on 3rd Wednesday and Thursday after Vinayaka Chavithi.
