“Mehandipur Balaji” is Exorcism really performed there or is it just blind faith of people?

Mehandipur Balaji temple is located at Dausa district of Rajasthan. There are three main deities of the temple i.e., Lord HanumanHanuman
SRI HANUMAN is worshipped everywhere in India, alone...
, Pret Raja (The King of spirits), BhairavBhairav
Also known as Kala Bhairava, Bhairava is the manifestation of Lord Shiva...

Thousands of devotees visit this temple to get cured( exorcised). The legend says the images of Lord Balaji and that of Pret Raja (the king of spirits) appeared from 'Mehandipur Dham' around a thousand years ago in a valley, amidst the Aravalli Ranges.
You can see devotees performing acts like pouring a bucket of hot water on their heads and still not hurting themselves. Heavy stones pelted on people. Then there are others who inhale the fumes out of the sweet patasas kept on smoldering cowpats. Many devotees believe in this treatment and have a blind faith in the practices.
The rituals of this temple are very specific, and one needs to follow in proper sequence without any mistake.
A person should first offer ladoo to all three deities, and the rest of the laddoos are supposed to be thrown away. The throwaway laddoos are collected in a big plastic bag by a temple staff. The devotee brings back two laddoos that he or she must eat.
One should be cautious after the Puja It is a prayer ritual performed to make offerings, honoring, evoking or worshipping gods. The ceremony can also be performed to pay homage to the beloved ones who are deadand should never look backwards after performing rituals and prayers and then walk out of the temple premises. The reason behind that is if there are any evil spirits behind, they will not follow the devotee. The devotee must not eat anywhere in that area after performing prayers. He or she should simply leave and travel out of that town then and there.
The devotees are asked to keep in mind that whenever they ask for something like a wish or some issue to be resolved, they must also promise to come back for thanksgiving once the wishes are fulfilled.
I suggest people to be aware about such practices, and rather look for scientific facts behind these kind of rituals going on in our country as most of them are only psychological disorders and can be cured by knowing the root cause and proper medical consultation.
