It has also mentioned that mercury is analogues with the human mind as both are unstable. When mercury is stabilized, its waves solidify. This process causes an effect on the mind. If one meditates sitting in front of Parad Shivalinga, its mind naturally gets concentrated. Therefore, a solidified form of mercury is of great significance as it is extremely helpful in concentrating the mind.
