In the month of Shravan (August) a large amount of devotees arrives here to worship the Shivalinga traditionally with Bel Patra, milk, Gangajal and flowers. On the same day, all the priests organize Rudrabhishek and Maha Aarti. It is a Hindu religious ritual of worship The entire temple was decorated with special lights at that time.

One day the goddess came in the dreams of a man there on the temple outskirts. He found and placed her on the campus of the Baba Budhanath temple.

Two days in a week, Tuesday and Saturday are special in this temple. Goats are sacrificed on these days. During the Shravan month, the temple attracts more than a million devotees on the program of Rudrabhishek and Aarties.
