Narahari Parvatha Sadashiva Temple History and Legends
According to the legend, after the Kurukshetra It is one of the many cities of Haryana which has a huge historical significance. The fight between Kauravas and Pandavas, depicted in Mahabharata, was fought on the grounds of Kurukshetra. Bhagavad Gita was also preached here by Krishna to Arjuna. The land is also known as Dhamakshetra.

It is described that there are three aspects of the Supreme that must... (Hari) for freeing themselves their sins, they visited south India and climbed the mountains. Lord Hari It is another name of Lord Vishnu.as a sign of his visit sculpted Shankh (Conch), Chakra (Wheel), Gada (Heavy Weapon) and Padma (Lotus) giving rise to the four Holy Ponds which are existing even today. Arjuna purified himself by taking a bath in these holy ponds and established the Shivalinga and worshiped it and hence the hill gets its unique name ‘Narahari Sadashiva’.
Once you reach the top of the mountain, the four ‘Teerthakoopas’ are an unbelievable sight as they are perfectly in the shape of a Shanka, Chakra, Gada and Padma.
In the North side of the temple, there are signs of Bhima’s feet on the rocks. Also, the mountain becomes Tapo Bhoomi, a place for austerity. Besides, there are several signs found to confirm that Thapaswis’s meditated here.
